It’s a picture of me with your C-Ruck Rucksack on the Caribbean nation of Dominica’s only airport shortly after they suffered substantial damage due to Hurricane Erika. Roads were destroyed, infrastructure set back years, and nearly 2% of the population was suddenly left homeless afterward — in American terms, 2% homeless would equate to 6.5 million suddenly without homes. In other words, it was a huge disaster.
