    4. Veteran Owned and Operated

Founded by a former Marine Special Forces Parachute Rigger, Captain James Markel Senior Ret., your bags are made to military specifications (Mil-Spec) quality. The rigger motto "I will be sure, always." goes into every stitch and every piece of hardware. That said…

    5. Mil-spec Heavy-duty Hardware

Dependable hardware that is built and inspected to meet stringent U.S. Military Specifications. We wanted a bag with real old fashioned metal or high tech poly plastics hardware that will never break, and so do you.

    6. Seams That Won’t Come Apart

Red Oxx bags are stitched together on industrial sewing machines using a trademarked UV resistant, nearly unbreakable proprietary thread by our highly trained and experienced sewing and assembly production herd. All high-stress points are double-box stitched; the origin of the double XX in Red Oxx. Where parts and pieces come together, they are double stitched and also bound, inside and outside.

    7. Quality CORDURA® Brand Nylon Fabric and Ballistic Nylon Fabrics That Are Water Resistant

Red Oxx makes maximum effort to source our textiles from American owned and operated mills. Each roll of fabric is inspected upon arrival by our cutting department and if it does not meet our high standards of perfection, we reject it and send it back to the mill. All fabrics are treated with a water-resistant polyurethane backing that is applied at the mill.

Most people, using simple tools at hand, can also repair them in the field, should the unlikelihood that they happen to separate.

    9. Monkey Fist Zip Knots on Every Zipper

Red Oxx doesn’t skimp on zip knots. They are not only tied by Free Trade Red Oxx Associates in Guatemala, they are also easy to grab, and will last forever. They will even interlock with each other for further theft deterrence.

    10. Rigorously Tried and Tested Gear Development

Our bags won’t hit the market until they’ve been through our rigorous testing and development procedures. Carried around the world in all kinds of conditions and environments, each Red Oxx bag goes through at least three or four stages before we’re satisfied that you’ll be satisfied. 12. In Stock or Quick to Build

If a bag you want is in stock, we’ll ship out your order within 48 hours of receiving it during regular business days Monday – Friday, provided your order is placed by 4:00pm MST, excluding holidays. Due to the backlog of orders, FIFO (first in, first out) takes precedence. Currently this is out to 21-30 days before shipping.

NOTE – in some cases, such as if you order monogramming for your Railroad Grip, Rail Runner or Rail King Rucksack, due to supply chain issues, there could be a delay of up to 60 business days.

Occasionally, we may sell out of a color due to a large Corporate or Government order. Once you place your order it will then go on what is called by the herd – backorder, meaning we are working fast to build it for you. Every effort is made to build and ship out your backordered product in fourteen (14) days.
