I purchased this product along with the Air Boss two weeks ago. After receiving it, I can say that I'm extremely happy with the quality of the product and with the customer service at Red Oxx. There's not a thing I can think of that I would change the briefcase. Granted, it does cost a lot of money, but I am glad I spent it. I don't mind paying for a quality product with excellent customer service.

I had previously purchased the padded brief case to use in my work as a field auditor. The product has served me flawlessly. I have since purchsed the slim briefcase to handle smaller jobs or in the cases where I needed additional capacity for my bigger jobs. I have to tell you, I have packed these bags so full on occasion, that any other product would have failed at the seams or zipper. The Red Oxx has never failed me, plus I'm assured that if it did the product is backed for life. Keep up the fantastic work Red Oxx.

I had one of these and my brother decided he liked it enough that I needed to give it to him. Six months later, his bag was stolen out of his car and ditched for dead a few hundred yards in the woods. The briefcase stayed outside through 2 nights of rain and wind before he found where the thieves had parked OUR bag. The thieves probably didn't think that the stellar construction of a 1000 denier cordura Red Oxx bag would live to house another computer and notebook. They thought wrong. A little brushing off, some oil on the stainless clip on the shoulder strap, and off to college it goes. I dare them to try this with another brand. I can assure you it would have been a casualty.
Great little laptop gag

I fly weekly for business. This bag holds my 14" Dell Latitude laptop (I don't use a neoprene or other sleeve, but you could), charger, mp3 player, 2 Dell media bay devices (extra battery and extra hard drive), 2.5" external hard drive, 3 zipper pouches for cables and other small items, and umbrella. All items are well-organized in the bag's pockets, without bulging. I have used backpacks and messenger bags in the past that were much more spacious, but ended up filling them with more and more junk 'til they were so heavy they were uncomfortable. The Laptop bag has the perfect amount of space for my (several) essentials and not much else, which was my desire. And even with it full of my gear, it's not bulging or over-stuffed, and I'm able to zip it into the center section of my Air Boss airline bag in order to have only "One Bag" to manage through the airports. The combination is a little heavy, but the Claw Strap on the Air Boss makes it workable. VERY comfy strap (the same awesome strap is included on this briefcase also, by the way). When boarding a plane w/ smaller overheads, the Slim Briefcase comes out to be placed under the seat, and the Air Boss overhead. <br /> The only thing I would change on the bag would be to lose the water bottle pockets on each end, allowing the zipper to extend all the way down. This would allow the bag to open flat, which might also require a little reworking of the organizer pockets to keep things in place, but maybe not. With the new TSA (Theatrical Security Association) regulations prohibiting bringing water from home, these pockets aren't getting used. My umbrella lies in the bottom of the bag, and I have to remove my laptop in order to access it. Would be nice to be able to pull the zipper all the way down to get to the umbrella, instead of the zipper stopping above the water bottle pockets. I'll probably shop for an umbrella that is shorter, and just store it in a water bottle pocket. Might work better. My previous daily office bag was an Ogio Metro backpack, and it was my favorite bag ever (I'm a bag-a-holic). This one is my new favorite. Perfect for my needs. And the "Forever" lifetime warranty can't be beat. I got a chuckle out of the tags on your Red Oxx travel bags when I pulled it out of the box, reminding me to "put this bag in your will". It really does look like it would last forever.
