this is the first shell bag i have ever bought. looks like i did it right the first time. sturdy, plenty of room for live ammo and spent hulls.

First off, the bag itself is five stars. It loses one star for making me search all over for a belt for it! I saw it didn't come with one, but for the price I think it should. Back to the bag. It is very roomy, and it is actually smaller than I thought from an exterior perspective, but it will EASILY hold 100 shells. I didn't load it to capacity but those 100 shells all fit into one compartment, so the empty hulls can still fit in the other. If you are doing some serious clays shooting and are leaving your empties, you can probably fit 200 rounds in here (hence the need for a high quality belt). Go ahead and read the reviews of the $20 made-in-China bags that you can buy locally, they almost all have complaints about the stitching coming apart. Not a problem with Red Oxx. But it really should come with a belt, even if it costs a few bucks more. $8 belts are $15 online after shipping. I wasn't going to strap my USA-made bag to a Chinese made belt, so I settled for one at Lowe's on sale for $7. Made in Mexico. C'mon Red Oxx, don't make me tie a Claw Strap through this thing! And for what it's worth, this is my first sub-5-star review and I have a boatload of their products now.

Very high quality and very roomy. Easily holds 75 12 gauge, 125 20 gauge, and 150 28 gauge shells. I wish RO would make a hull bag to go with this product.
